We Are Always Remembered ( Watashitachi wa Itsumo Oboerareteiru )
No matter what we are suffering, we can always be assured that God knows and is with us. Sakie learned this when her daughter Megumi was abducted to North Korea, and someone introduced her to the story of Job in the Bible. Job lost all his children and wealth and his health but could still affirm his trust in God. (Job 1:21) Sakie was comforted as she read this and more in the Bible. She began to see how sinful her heart was but learned how Jesus suffered on the cross to save sinners, and she trusted in His salvation and received peace. God has a plan and like Job’s story, even when we cannot understand it, we know God is love and always remembers and cares for us. Her blue-ribbon campaign for Megumi's return has made Sakie one of the most famous Christian women in Japan.
