Pura is a small pig with a heavy back pack (burden) who sets out to a friend's house to return a lost little box. But when he reaches the village, he is told his friend has moved on. So he continues after him from town to town. He leaves in Spring and travels meeting many other animals through four seasons. He learns each place in his journey (life) has its own joys and lessons and he learns to be free from his burdens. Finally his back pack is empty and he discovers in it the key to the little box in his back pack. He opens it to find a letter saying it was the journey itself and what he learned that the friend wanted him to have. A story of healing for all ages. Luke 10:42a is quoted on the last page.
