Megumi Chalet Karuizawa (MCK) is a Christian conference center situated in the mountain village resort of Karuizawa in Nagano Prefecture. "Megumi" is the Japanese word for "grace" or "blessing" and MCK is a place to experience God's grace and blessing. The staff plan a full range of year-round evangelistic, Bible, and Christian growth seminars and conferences. Although available for family vacations, an increasing number of churches, Christian organizations and "mission schools" rent the facilities for camps and retreats for groups up to 250 people. The guests are introduced to Christ in the beautiful mountain setting. MCK is accessible by the Joshinetsu super highway, and is just 64 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen "Bullet" train.
